    Learn three leather stitches – blanket, saddle, and whip stitch – and the times when each is used. Participants will receive a kit that includes the leather pieces to make a 4-inch-by-6-inch pouch, needles, artificial sinew, and instruction on how to sew the pouch together using the three stitches. Also included are tips for creating patterns and templates and the opportunity to see/use different leatherworking tools such as punches and a stitching pony. PLUS hints and tips for embellishing the kit by adding stitches to the flap, a belt loop, closure, etc. The goal for this two-and-a-half-hour session is that each participant will have enough time to finish their pouch.
